Hospitalité - Purpose

The Liverpool Archdiocesan Hospitalité of Our Lady of Lourdes forms part of the Archdiocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage Association, a registered charity. It is affiliated to the Hospitalité Notre Dame de Lourdes and, as such, shares the privileges of an Archconfraternity.

Its objectives are:

1. To encourage and provide men and women to undertake service to the Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, giving whatever time may be required to the care of people with special needs;
   
   
2. The personal sanctification of members by providing a wide choice of opportunities for regular prayer and worship throughout the year and, in particular, during the pilgrimage;
   
   
3. To raise funds for the general purpose of the pilgrimage including, where necessary, assisting people with special needs to accompany the pilgrimage;
   
   
4. To co-operate with, and assist, the Lourdes Hospitalité, and encourage members to participate in its work.
