Music Group - Fundraising

Fundraising – Each year the cost of travelling to Lourdes with the music group is considerably reduced by a variety of fundraising activities. In the past year we have held cake sales, bag-packed in local supermarkets and hosted several entertainment nights including ‘A Night at the Musicals’, an Irish Night and a Race Night. In 2007/08 the music group raised almost £10,000 through a combination of fundraising activities and donations.

This year we also recorded our third CD; Jubliate, the sale of this and previous CDs is another way in which we are able to perform our music to those who may not be able to travel to Lourdes, whilst also raising money for the group.

A huge thank you to everybody who has supported any of our events in the past! Without this generous support the music group would not be able to offer the opportunity of travelling to Lourdes to the same number of young people each year.
